About Us
We are a student-driven team organising this event as part of the THOM-300 and THOM-240 courses at the University of Nicosia.
Together, we ally our passion for event management to create and organise an event of our own, dividing the tasks into dedicated teams under the supervision of our conference managers.
Our co-organisers, Cypria Filoxenia, Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI), and the Department of Management share our dedication and aid us in emphasising the history and legacy of Commandaria.
About the Event
Commandaria, the world's oldest named wine, has been produced in Cyprus for over 800 years and holds Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status in the Commandaria region.
To honour this rich heritage, we are hosting a two-day event dedicated to Commandaria's history.

Join us at University of Nicosia, UNESCO Amphitheatre for an expert-led conference exploring Commandaria's impact on history and culture. The event will feature an exclusive exhibition showcasing insights into Commandaria's legendary journey.
📅 April 10, 2025 – Commandaria Experience-Tour
Experience an immersive guided tour through key historical sites, including Kolossi Castle, Erimi Wine Museum, and a renowned winery. Enjoy a wine tasting, traditional Cypriot lunch, and a prestigious honorary Ambassadors of Commandaria ceremony.
